Olga Caropoulou

Olga Caropoulou is a designer, goldsmith and creator of fine jewellery.
After graduating from Moraitis High School in Athens, she first studied economics at the Athens Economics School of the National University of Greece.
She also studied Jewellery Design in Southeastern University of Athens Greece,and then she continiued with goldsmithing in the Athens National Technical Institute of Silversmithing and Gold Fine Jewellery from which she graduated Top of her class and has been awarded with an Excellency Prize as well as an Honourable praize from the Athens Mayor.
She also studied Glyptography and Lapidary along with Gemmology in the EOMMEX Institute in Athens, and followed her post-graduate education in the London Guildhall University where she studied Jewellery Design of Gemstones and Minerals as well as Casting for Jewellers.
She speaks greek, english, french and italian.
As being of a very restless and creative nature Olga decided to explore the world before starting her free-lance designer career.
Her inspiration was then enhanced by her travels in the five continents but it was her birthcountry, Greece, representing an endless source of artistic inspiration that gained her finally.
The culture and civilization of Ancient Greece along with the beauties and attractions of Modern Greece find an interpretation in her sophisticated, yet very modern jewellery.
The under-the-sea world, the coasts and the greek landscapes, the Mediterranean sun whose sublime light reflects and enhances the un-be-lie-va-ble colours of the Greek nature are serving as a base to her jewellery unique pieces,that are hand-made exclusively in 18k or 14k gold and sterling silver 925o and are set with fine gemstones and other natural first materials.
Most of the jewellery pieces she creates are unique while you can even order a custom made jewel, according to your own preferences and needs!
